A great deceiver of our day is advertising, for if  you look at it carefully, all advertising is deceptive. Go look. But some is more flagrantly deceptive  than the rest. There is, for instance, one claim put out by an insurance company named Liberty Mutual.  Their line is “You only pay for what you need”

Now you don’t have to think very much  to be disgusted  by that one. You can never answer till you know what your insurance need is, and you won’t know that till after you die.

If we and our friends at Liberty stick strictly to the words and the logic, Liberty will never pay anything to anybody.
