This site contains various writings by John Streed. The first section following the Home page holds a series of short essays called Whispers, the first of which appeared in December of 2014. They are sent out by email, a new one every few weeks or so. They have their own introduction. The writer appreciates whatever attention is taken away from busy lives and given over to reading Whispers and whatever other writings that follow.

Those writings are gathered into traditional categories. Poetry includes a book of garden poems titled Garden Revisions and a number of miscellaneous poems. Fiction includes stories and fables. Non-fiction includes a reference to a published book and a number of essays. Thank you for your time.
